Customer FAQ for Buying PONCHI Online
What are the four PONCHI editions?
The PONCHI Kit is a ready-to-paint personalized figure with art supplies. Hand-Painted is finished by an artist. Signature + Ponchi Charm™ adds a digital passport. Legacy adds the time-capsule features described on the edition page.
How much is shipping?
Standard U.S. shipping is included in the $99.99 PONCHI Kit price. Standard U.S. shipping for Hand-Painted, Signature + Ponchi Charm™, and Legacy is a flat $9.99 per order. Expedited, international, remote-area, oversized, customs, duties, and tax charges are not included unless expressly shown at checkout.
How long will delivery take?
The estimated delivery period for the PONCHI Kit is six weeks. The estimated delivery period for Hand-Painted, Signature + Ponchi Charm™, and Legacy is eight weeks. These periods begin only after artwork intake is complete, required information has been received, and the parent or purchaser approves the final 3D interpretation. They are good-faith estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.
When does production begin?
Production does not begin until the required artwork or photograph, order details, payment and parent-controlled approval are complete.
Can I use a discount code or gift certificate?
Eligible codes and digital gift certificates may be entered during checkout. Codes are subject to their stated terms and must be validated before payment is completed.
Which payment methods are accepted?
The checkout is designed to support regular credit and debit cards, Stripe Link, Google Pay where available, and PayPal once the corresponding merchant accounts and payment links are connected.
Can I cancel a custom order?
Because each PONCHI is personalized, cancellation rights may be limited after interpretation or production work begins. The applicable custom-order terms shown before payment control.
Will the finished figure be identical to what I sent?
The goal is faithful character interpretation, not a mechanically exact copy. Floating parts, impossible perspectives, fragile features, and very thin details may require practical changes for stability and safety.
Do you ship internationally?
International availability, pricing, duties, taxes, carrier restrictions, and delivery estimates must be confirmed at checkout. The recipient is responsible for import charges unless the order expressly states otherwise.
How will I receive tracking?
A tracking number is emailed after the completed order is handed to the carrier. Tracking begins at shipment, not when the custom project enters production.
FAQ for Parents
Who owns the original artwork or photograph?
The child or lawful owner retains ownership of the original artwork. The parent or authorized guardian grants PONCHI the limited permission needed to review, interpret, manufacture, document, and fulfill the selected order.
Is parent approval required?
Yes. The parent-controlled process requires approval of the proposed 3D interpretation before manufacturing begins.
What information about my child is required?
Only the information reasonably needed to complete the order should be provided. A first name or initials may be used instead of a full name where the form permits.
Is PONCHI a therapy or medical product?
No. PONCHI is a creative and educational experience. It does not diagnose, treat, or guarantee psychological, developmental, or academic outcomes.
Are paints and materials child-safe?
Final safety claims must match the exact commercial materials, age grading, warnings, labeling, and completed testing. Adult supervision and the instructions supplied with the product remain important.
What if I request a change to the interpretation?
Requested changes are reviewed before production. The order terms should specify included revisions, additional work, and the standards for production-error remakes.
Can what I send be displayed publicly?
Not unless the applicable consent permits it. A purchase alone should not be treated as permission for unrelated advertising or public display.
FAQ for Schools
Does the school buy the kits?
The intended family-purchase model allows parents to enroll and pay PONCHI directly. A separate written agreement controls any school-funded program.
Does the school collect payment information?
No, not under the direct family-purchase model. Payment details should be processed by PONCHI and its payment providers.
Does purchasing affect participation or recognition?
No. Educational participation, classroom recognition, and competition eligibility should not depend on whether a family purchases a product.
What does the school need to provide?
Program scheduling, approved communications, appropriate classroom coordination, and any permissions specified in the school agreement.
How is student information handled?
Only the minimum information needed for the program and order should be collected. School and family data handling must follow the applicable agreement, privacy notice, and law.
Can PONCHI guarantee academic outcomes?
No. The program can support creative reflection and student voice, but it does not guarantee academic, behavioral, or mental-health results.
How are sponsored kits handled?
Sponsored or confidential assistance should be managed discreetly so students are not identified or treated differently because of family purchasing decisions.
